Overview

The primary function of the City of Mechanicville's Community Development Agency is to work with existing homeowners to refurbish and to bring up to code existing home within the City.

The City is always seeking grants to help retain and attract small businesses.  Within the 2011 budget year the city has distributed $200,000 in grant money for facade improvements and another $166,000 in Micro-enterprise money to help small businesses improve their facilities as well as expand their operations.
